How do I order eCards?
Technically, if the instructor is keeping the previous TC as their primary TC, that Training Center is not obligated to send us records. However, even if we are truly becoming the primary TC, the AHA will allow us to accept the instructor regardless of whether the previous TC sends us records within the required 30 days. We are only obligated to do our part and send the Records Transfer Request.
We cannot provide legal counsel in this area. However, this is a process you can do on your own by contacting your Secretary of State, or you can use a local attorney or legal aid service such as Rocket Lawyer or Legal Zoom.
There are several ways to grow your business. Marketing is only one component. We recommend reading The eMyth and Profit First. You can also watch our youtube videos, join our mastermind group, and use our learning academy.
This will depend on the nature of the complaint. Always tell the person complaining that we will open an investigation and address the problem appropriately. Then we will always need to get the instructor’s side of the story first. If it’s a legitimate program related complaint, we will need to create a remediation plan. If it’s a poor business practice, we will need to coach the instructor and give them some of our best practices. If it’s a character issue, we can also do some coaching or it can be escalated as far as a legal civil issue.
Only if an instructor is marked as Active and Affiliate Coordinator in CRM can they have the password. The password is ‘primemed’. ARC eCards must be ordered directly from them by logging into your account and submitting a roster.
Benefits are listed at cprinstructoraffiliates.com/alignment.
Yes. If you’re not aligned with us, you can align and when we monitor you for your transfer, it will also renew you.
If you are an Affiliate aligned with us, you can fill out this form which has instructions on how to be monitored.
If you are a Sub-Affiliate, you’ll need to reach out to your Training Site to find out their process for renewal.
Cards are deposited into your instructor account within one business day.
Yes, you can order as many cards as you need in advance.
No. There are no minimums.
My previous Training Center didn't require monitoring, why do you all?
Monitoring is a requirement of the AHA every two years. Instructors and Training Centers not following this requirement risk losing their credentials. We always strive to do things ethically and be above board, as I imagine you would too.
We do not charge a fee to transfer to our Training Center or a fee to renew an instructor card. Instead, we have a $50 fee per Training Site (that means there is no charge for any instructors under you and we are giving you their instructor cards for free.)
As soon as you fill out our forms and give us monitoring dates. You can start ordering and teaching even before you are monitored. Card orders are filled in one business day.
The price varies for Training Coordinators. Check their eCard Pricing Tier in CRM. Generally, people who transfer to us get a cheaper price than those who take an initial instructor class with us.
If a Training Coordinator works with a sub-instructor who has a different primary Training Center but picks up contract classes, we do not need them to monitor that instructor and submit instructor paperwork to us.
They only need to submit a copy of their instructor card, and we will create a profile for them, and add that cert to our CRM. We’ll also mark their affiliation status as “Contract Only”.
You’ll download an app to your mobile device. We’ll send you very detailed instructions once we get to that point.
Yes, you’ll setup the camera in the back of the room, and record the entire class.
Do I need to monitor HS if I'm a BLS instructor?
No, we only need a BLS recording.
No, we only record you, and you’re responsible for recording them when they come due to renew.
We don’t stipulate how you manage your records.
No, we only sell you certification cards, but you should check out Class Eagle.
We used to offer paid consulting but no longer offer this service. Instead, we offer resources such as our Youtube channel, monthly mastermind groups, and our learning academy (pending).
We no longer offer discounts through WorldPoint. However, you can purchase supplies through CPR Supply Source which does offer financing options.
In the onboarding email we send you, we’ll attach a spreadsheet that you’ll fill out with your instructors’ info. We do not need them to fill out any forms.
Yes, if they select in their profile that they want to be made visible.
No, this is not an AHA requirement. However, we don’t recommend using the AHA IN as your primary source for maintaining course records. A dedicated class management software is ideal, and at the very least a service like Google Drive would be more advisable. However, American Red Cross does require that you upload your rosters into your account so eCards can be produced.
The $100 fee only applies to the training coordinator. Sub instructors are not subject to this fee.
We don’t charge anything for instructor cards.
If you were an existing TF at your last TC, you can immediately take our TF Orientation. If you have never been a TF, you must teach a minimum of 2 classes per month consecutively for 3 months after aligning with us before you will be eligible to take the TF Orientation.
Ask them why they want to be a training site. Usually they’ll say so they can either be listed as a TS on the Class Connector or so they can teach instructor classes. Either way, those are benefits that are not exclusive to Training Sites and are automatically given to any instructor aligned with us.
There is no benefit to becoming a Training Site. It’s just an empty title.
